Contact your local community college and get information on how to enroll in their CDL classes, it's less expensive than private company's and most schools have government funds to pay for your classes.

The Community College route will take  4 to 6 weeks longer than a private company; but the time, care, and instruction are worth it! The cost, even if you paid out of pocket, maybe 50% less than a private company. The trade off is time, the private company moves faster!
